Abe Gibson is a first-year DMA student at the University of Arizona. As part of his teaching assistantship, he is the Assistant Conductor of the University Community Chorus. He also serves as Chancel Choir Director at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

Abe previously served on the faculty of Kent State University-Stark Campus and Music Director at Church of the Lakes in North Canton, Ohio. In addition, he was Assistant Director of the Youngstown Cantorum in Youngstown, Ohio.

Abe holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Certificate of Sacred Music from Seton Hill University, where he studied with mentor Dr. Mark A. Boyle. He also completed his Master of Music in Choral Conducting at Youngstown State University, where he studied conducting with Dr. Hae-Jong Lee and voice with Dr. Misook Yun.
