Dear Friends of the Fred Fox School of Music,

The Holiday Card to Tucson is one of the most treasured traditions held each year and, as Director of the Fred Fox School of Music, I am pleased to share with you that this signature choral event will happen in December 2020! Please reserve Sunday, December 6 at 3:00 p.m. to watch the premiere performance of this online concert featuring The Arizona Choir, Symphonic Choir, University Community Chorus, Tucson Girls Chorus and Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus. New additions to the one-hour program will be performances by Tucson Arizona Young Men’s Ensemble, and three other outstanding UArizona groups: Coro, Collegium Musicum, and Treble Glee.

The concert will consist of performances recorded either live or virtually this semester, and will include archived favorites from past Holiday Card concerts plus a sing-along of Silent Night! Guest appearances by the University of Arizona Faculty Brass Quintet and Michelle Gott, assistant professor of harp, will complete the program. The concert will be premiered on the Fred Fox School of Music YouTube Channel as well as the Arizona Arts YouTube Channel.

This seasonal celebration provides sustaining funds for the University of Arizona choral area throughout the year and we are always grateful for the generosity and support of those who attend. Our current students and graduates provide leadership not only for schools, community choirs and religious organizations in Tucson, but also throughout the country and across the globe. Your donations help support the educational, musical and professional endeavors of these outstanding students.

While the event will be available online and free to all, we would like to provide the opportunity for you to donate in advance of the premiere and be recognized in the closing credits. If you wish to have your name included, please be sure to send your donation by December 1; however, we are always appreciative of your attendance at the online event and any donation that you may wish to contribute thereafter, as well.

The Holiday Card to Tucson will be a feast for your eyes and ears and a time for you to gather with friends and family to enjoy this joyful holiday tradition with us.
